Welcome to
Columbia Basin Nursery
Within this site we hope to give you a glimpse of our operation, people and plants. At the same time
we will try to provide some cultural information based on our 40 years of
experience as commercial orchardists and nurserymen. Because we are fruit
growers, we take a lot of pride in our industry. So, like you, we are
constantly exploring new ways to be more efficient and improve the quality
of our nursery stock to grow more and better fruit. We like what we do, and
we like the people we work with and for.
Columbia Basin Nursery was started by Carl Perleberg as a small family
operation. We have continued on with what Carl began and are proud to still be a
family operation with Gie, Carla and Dena, as well as Dena's husband, Manuel,
and son, Manny. We have a wonderful extended family in the business, with the
ranch managers, crew bosses, superintendents, and sales staff as well as
dedicated employees.
